ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Ken Ulman will participate in the groundbreaking for Kimco Realty’s redevelopment of the Wilde Lake Village Center. Built in 1967, the Village Center will undergo a two-year, $17 million renovation. When completed, the new Village Center will include 50,000 square feet of retail space, 30,000 square feet of office space, and 250 residential apartments units directly adjacent to the Village Center.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Join County Executive Ken Ulman and Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake to tour the latest ReStore location, now in Columbia. Executive Ulman is pleased to welcome this environmentally-friendly source of reusable materials to Howard County. ReStores generate income for Habitat for Humanity projects through the sales of donated building materials, appliances, furniture, cabinets and more. It also keeps these materials from winding up in our landfills when they still have life left.

05.10.13 Only Howard County Cricket Field to Host First Match at Renovated Schooley Mill Park

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Join County Executive Ken Ulman and the Department of Recreation & Parks for the official opening of the county’s only regulation cricket field and unveiling of improvements at Schooley Mill Park in Highland, MD. The completed renovations feature a new cricket field, roughly 300 feet in diameter, that overlays two upgraded multi-purpose fields. The recently-formed, adult Howard County Cricket League (HCCL) will provide a demonstration at their new home at Schooley Mill Park. The renovations also allow for the original multi-purpose fields to be used independently, when not scheduled for cricket.
